This is a photo taken downtown in Richmond, Virginia, on December 9th, 2023, at 4:44 PM. This photo happens to be one of my favorites so far, with its amount of detail and depiction of the color of the bricks.
I got the naming convention from one of my guys named Romeo. *Shout out to Romeo* He had a name similar to "4theloveof," which has really stuck with me since I saw it about a year and a half ago. This playlist is a celebration of enjoying life at the moment. I just finished all of my finals, and these were my "last" real finals. I'm looking forward to graduating next semester. Take a listen to the songs; I'm trying to keep a consistently diverse playlist without repeating any songs.
This past week, I just finished all of my classes. It was a little rough for me since these classes were more on a "General Education" track, as I've finished all of my core engineering classes and just need credits to graduate. I ended up with a 3.14-ish GPA this semester. This is great because, for admission into graduate school, I would need a 3.0 GPA.
I also had/have a few interviews this week for embedded systems roles at some great companies and am looking forward to hearing more about these! After this, I'm planning on getting my Mac Mini fully set up to act as an SSH host for me to log into for hardware and software updates and to fully update my GitHub with the different projects and small tasks I'll be taking on to learn through this next 5-month learning stint.
I am very excited because I've recently taken the opportunity to learn more about the field I enjoyed at my past internship. This includes firmware engineering & MCU/FPGAs. I'll be practicing LeetCode, doing my Udemy courses on Algorithms, Data Structures, C++/C embedded software, and microcontroller development. Additionally, I've decided to take full responsibility for getting back into shape! This means no missed meals, no missed workouts, quality sleep, and keeping up with my MSPD (Minimum Steps Per Day).
